I wonder how far back records go? I am wondering if anyone does have a Bracegirdle tucked away in their family in the mid 1700's or thereabouts. Reverend George Bracegirdle came to Ireland about 1754 to take over the parish of Donagheady. Comments on the PRONI website says he had a large family
