the same problem on an Thinkpad R60. I tried it yesterday.

That does not solve our problems. I tested your precompiled Version
with some IBM R52 thinkpads and it did not work.
The R52s are no real sata notebooks, because they have an sata to ide
bridge. The chipset is sata, but the used harddrives are ide. Can this
cause the problems ?
