I have no problems when doing so. I used both v4.0rc1 and v3.5
successfully.
VMware v4.0.5 Build 6030 on kernel 2.4.20. Virtual Disk as IDE0.0/4GB.

I am pleased to announce the availability of Unattended version 4.0.
This is a major release to reflect the complete overhaul of the boot
disk. The DOS boot disk now uses FreeDOS, which at long last is
capable of running winnt.exe.
In addition, the new Linux boot disk should provide something fu
