To me it's clear that I#m able to edit
the [_meta] section in unattended.txt.
But I want to have the choice during
installation, such as the choice of OS, driver, what to do, etc. (without
editing the [_meta] section)
I'm using the unattended 4.6 on a linux
machine.

Yep, look in the [_meta] section at fdisk_cmds = "..." - you can alter
that to your heart's content.

do you slipstream drivers, especially graphics drivers? Some nVidia
drivers can cause this behaviour.
Try booting once in safe mode, then try again booting normally.

It should be in unattended.txt, whereever that ends up (c:\netinst
??)... I dont think it's deleted during or after setup at least until
the post install scripts start doing their thing.
I'd test this to make sure Im right, but I dont have unattended set up
where I am right now.

Is the admin password saved anywhere in a variable after or while
finishing the installation. I need it to read it out. Is it maybe saved
in a variable or is it standing in a file ?
Maybe there´s a way to get it with python. I think it must be saved
somewhere otherwise you couldn´t make the
