You must use short (NETBIOS) names for both your Domain Contoller and

Most likely, it is valid. Addname.exe is part of the MS DOS TCP/IP set
of utilities since Lan Manager. Take a Look at

From that page, you can download it as part of the Win4Workgroups
TCP/IP stack, if you don't trust your helper...

I think there are two solutions for your problem:
1. Make sure you have the samba nmbd daemon running. Also create an
LMHOST file for samba. Make sure there is an entry for the server
hosting the unattended share in LMHOSTS. If you modifiy LMHOSTS,
restart nmbd.

I do not have experience with blade servers, but I understand there is a
comand in DOS to redirect the console to a serial port. So, If you have
one, you may be able to do CTTY AUX or CTTY COM1: in Autoexec.bat. I'm
not sure the OS Installer respects that, though.

something in a Run key? You may be able to find what is disconnecting
the drive running Regmon and/or FileMon utilities from sysinternals.
When a drive is mapped, some keys in the registry are modified. Regmon
may pinpoint
