The maps at the website (http://www.facilities.upenn.edu/whatsNew/construction/38th.php3) do not dispel the confusion.
It appears as though people coming to UC from the University exit of the expressway ought either to make a right turn after going under the railway trestle onto Convention
Dear Mr. Zardus,
Against all advise not to answer your post because it's not polite to mock
the afflicted, I have decided in the spirit of noblesse oblige to consider
what you have said and respond.
Dogs are great animals. I have raised and loved three of them. I happen to
be very fond of them
If you are coming off the expressway via the University Avenue exit, and
live further west than 46th, you might also consider going right on the
second possible turn after the Gray's Ferry bridge: 48th street. This will
take you, after crossing Woodland, to Greenway, which turns 90 degrees

I had a pair of shoes at this store (Spruce below 38th) and when I went to pick them up they'd closed for good. Is anyone else in the same situation? Does anyone know where the owner is so I can see about getting my shoes back?

Do not go to Cliff's on 40th st. I left my shoes there for repair, had to
pay up front, and the shoes were not ready when promised twice. Luckily I
got got my money and shoes back.
Go to center city for shoe repair. There are a number of very good places
including the one I like at 15th Spruce.
