Cedar Park Block Leaders Conference - Anyone can be a block leader! Saturday, November 17, 2007 9:00 am noon, followed by lunch
The Greater Enon Baptist Church 46th & Cedar Avenue This is an important forum to meet other block leaders who are working on similar issues. We will begin at 9:00 with registration and refreshments. Speakers are planned on such topics as: Senior Issues (including repairs to home, legalities, support systems, tax structure & housing properties issues), Zoning and changes to Tax Assessment. You will be able to share with others about challenges and successes. All participants will receive a block leaders kit with important forms and information for effective block organizing on such matters as zoning, trash issues, clean-ups, parking permits, fire readiness, etc. Following the meeting all are welcome to enjoy lunch and continue the conversation. There is no cost for the program or lunch. If you cannot attend please see if someone else from your block can attend. We would like to have one or two representatives from all of our blocks!
