I just remembered that a 225-room hotel is already planned for the Cira  
Center South "Walnut Street Tower" -- as part of the project for the newly  
acquired Penn Property east of campus. If there's really a need for an  
extended-stay hotel, part of this could certainly be devoted to that purpose.  
With 
parking and all kinds of other amenities. This raises some new questions  about 
the 
desirability of Lussenhop's Folly at in the middle of a low-rise  residential 
neighborhood at 40th & Pine.
