I was informed by Kalvin's foster daughter of his passing. He died on Sunday, January 9.
Kalvin lived in this neighborhood for many years. He was a retired attorney and a Penn graduate. He was a writer and an animal rights activist. He was a sweet and sincere guy who was very active up until the time of his death. He will be missed by all who knew him. His funeral will be tomorrow, January 13 at 1:00 P.M. at a gravesite service at Shalom Cemeteries at 25 Byberry Road, which is in Northeast Philly near the City boundary with Montgomery County.
