As we prepare for the official escalation of the Afghanistan/Pakistan war, this
1987 report after the Iran-Contra hearings provides an important review of our
military/corporate empire since WWII. Most Americans have no idea why the
military empire has wanted a new Vietnamistan. This policy review is vital to

Most of this history has been completely forgotten or rewritten over the last
22 years. It was forgotten when the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were launched.
The video only touches a small portion of the 60 years of global support of
war, instability, and attempted manipulation of war lords/terrorists.
Also, the march toward fascism did not start 10 years ago isolated in our
university city district. The goal of destroying the Constitution and
privatizing power (corporatocracy) has simply matured and "trickled down" with
roots far back.
Citizens, it's amazing to see our current situation, so closely described 22
years ago.
