Someone told me that, in fact, in may be legal to do this type of posting in Jannie's district and that she had the law changed to allow for this. There was in fact another one nailed into the maple by the 48th street trolley stop. I had a photo of it taken, and I'm going to ask them at Jannie's office whether this is OK? The crew chief did say that Jannie's office approved/knew of this. I thought he was just putting me on. I wonder too whether this sign which says "Avoid Foreclosure" is another predatory technique or it's part of a policy to help people who've lost there houses. I know that the Philadelphia Unemployment Project And ACORN has housing counselors that help people in foreclosure. Perhaps they'd have some insight into this advertising campaign. I used the reverse lookup to see who is at that phone number and it appears to be a New York land line, but no name or address. I guess the New Yorkers are back looking for bargains.
