I would add to this that those of us with pets, especially multiple
pet households, need to be prepared to get pets out (with enough
carriers for each small animal, as well as food, water, meds,
blankets, and identification) in any kind of emergency. This is also
a good excuse to collar and tag your pets, whether they be indoor or
outdoor*, and to obtain stickers (or make your own) for your front &
back doors that indicate how many and what types of pets reside in
your home. One such sticker is available from ASPCA at:
http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pets_rescuesticker
*If you haven't already done so, please microchip your pets! And make
sure to mail in the paperwork after the procedure, otherwise no ID can
be made!
cheers,
L

This is something I'd rather get twice than not at all,
and something I hope we never need.
All the best!

Subject: Emergency Preparedness Route Link
To CCRA members and friends,
This map appeared in the Inquirer last week. In case you did not
see it, you may want to take note of it for your own safety and that
of others in the neighborhood. Please click on the last map to see
evacuation routes for west center city.
