Hi All,

My good friend, Dan Montes, is considering relocating his Voice Studio for
Classical (operatic), Musical Theater & Speech from South Philly to University
City. He is curious about the community of singers on this side of the river
and would like to know his prospects for finding students in our neighborhood.

He has recently been working with my daughter, guiding her voice through
exercises that develop her ability to sing without damaging her vocal folds
(vocal chords). He is one of the most amazing and supportive teachers I have
observed, and I think he would be a magnificent addition to the neighborhood.

His own classical voice is awe-inspiring. He was a finalist at the Southwest
Regional Met Auditions and won first place in the Adult Classical Vocalist
category for the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition.

He has taught in the old-Italian school of vocal production, known as “Bel
Canto”, for thirty years. He bases his instruction on decades of research and
direct training in four lineage methods of classical vocal cultivation. Dan
graduated with honors in Vocal Performance from the Texas University, with both
Bachelor and Master degrees in Music. His specializes in vocal rehabilitation
and is also certified in K-12 education.

He can supply diction coaching in singing, Italian, French, German, Spanish,
Latin, and English.

He is experienced in the direction of opera, musical theater, children and
adult choirs, church choirs, and recitals.

If any or all of the above interests you, please email him at:
danmonteste...@gmail.com

He would love to hear from you and get to know the University City community.
Also, feel free to let him know if you are interested in lessons or have any
ideas to share about his potential relocation to University City.

Robin
