Dear neighbors, Barry Grossbach responded to the e-mail request I copied to the list. Don't bother sending any message to the SHCA web site. It's a sham site. Your message will just bounce back.
Mr. Grossbach said he would forward my request to the zoning committee. He did not address my requests in any way. Now, there will be no mistake. The entire committee will be notified that holding this latest presentation at the clubhouse is inappropriate. He did not include the e-mail addresses of the other zoning committee members. What are these zoning committee members hiding? Currently, Mr Grossbach serves as the sole SHCA gatekeeper for the zoning committee and the association. Do folks remember when FOCP set up a phone line to receive objections to UCD's master plan for Clark park? At their election meeting, Ms. Roberts (now SHCA) claimed no objections had come prior to the motion to rescind approval of the UCD plan. But when the angry neighbors started sharing their efforts/stories, it turned out that no answering machine was attached and no one ever, night or day, answered the phone. I was very happy to see Governor Rendell make such harsh criticisms of these civic clubs on Radio Times. The thing is, when these associations can't be used, the corporations will quickly point out what we know, that these little cliques do not represent the community in any way.
