parental income of less than approximately, 50K a year. Check the
info to be sure of the financial requirements. It is an amazing

Dear Paige,
Thank you for your past interest in our organization's programs. I
am writing to you in the hope that you can help us connect with
potential applicants for this year's QuestBridge College Prep
Scholarship.
As you know, the College Prep Scholarship equips high school
juniors with necessary knowledge to compete for admission to
leading colleges. This year’s scholarship awards include:
Full Scholarships to College Summer School Programs: 10 students
will receive free counseling from QuestBridge to support their
application to summer school programs at Harvard, Notre Dame,
Stanford, or Yale. If accepted, they will receive a scholarship
covering the full cost of travel, tuition, and room & board.
Individualized College Admissions Counseling: 40 students will be
paired with a counselor from QuestBridge's staff who will provide
personalized admissions and financial aid advice.
College Admissions Conference Invitations: 800 students will be
invited to QuestBridge conferences at Stanford or Yale.
Participants will attend workshops on how low-income students can
successfully apply to leading colleges. They will also meet college
admissions officers and learn more about the opportunities that
QuestBridge offers.
All-Expense-Paid Campus Visits: 30 students will have their travel
expenses and room & board covered to visit a QuestBridge partner
college.
Tele-mentoring with College Students: 100 students will be paired
with an Amherst College student who will advise them by phone and e-
mail about the college admissions process.
The College Prep Scholarship application is available on our
website at www.questbridge.org and is due on March 31, 2008. As
always, there are no application fees.

Follow the "Refer a Student" link on our homepage to refer
qualified students.
Forward this e-mail to high school juniors who may be eligible, as
well as to teachers and other community leaders who might know of
strong scholarship candidates.
