Hi, All, I remember a big cave-in on 43rd St. between Walnut and Locust in front of the Fairfax when a car was swallowed up in it. It took place in the 1950's. It happened that neighbors of ours had parked in that exact spot to shop at the Penn Fruit super market (now the Thriftway). Se
