Hello!
Do you want to learn basic bike repair? These skills will help you
choose a bike if you're looking to buy one, and make you more confident to
go riding knowing you will be able to troubleshoot on the road, and you
can keep your bike in better working order when you learn about it! PLUS
taking this class is a way to contribute to a great youth program,
Neighborhood Bike Works

<a href="www.neighborhoodbikeworks.org">Visit our website!</a>

This is a four class series in which we will cover:
-bike anatomy(knowing the names of parts to communicate more confidently
about what your bike needs)
-flat fixing and other necessary evils
-bearing surfaces (hubs, headsets, bottom brackets)
-adjusting deraileurs
-adjusting brakes
-intro to truing wheels

There will be lots of hands on experience. You can bring your bike to work
on, but there will also be some demo bikes for a stress and risk free
wrenching experience.

I hope to welcome people with all levels of experience who feel they could
benefit from a basic class- especially people who have not yet worked on
bikes, or even used much tools.

The cost is $60, which will be supporting Neighborhood Bike Works. This
fee must be paid in advance. Classes are four Mondays in a row, starting
March 19th, from 6:30-9:00pm at our location at 40th and locust. Please
visit our website's contact page for directions to our shop. Please reply (to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) soon to reserve your spot; spaces are filling up!

You can call the shop with any questions at 215-386-0316

This will be a fun learning experience!
