It was an earlier prerelease of Dapper, but I know longer have this problem
either. This bug should be removed (of filed as no longer valid).

The version of libnjb5 in Debian Testing (2.2.5-3) has a udev fix. It sets the
group for the njb device as audio and the perms as 0660 instead of running
/etc/hotplug/usb/nomadjukebox.
This is a cleaner solution, I think, and it doesn't require the hotplug script
for udev systems (though the

Speaking as the upstream Debian package maintainer...
The main problem with building module packages for every kernel is that the set
of kernels is constantly changing and the build machinery required both
involves a ton of packages and very, very frequent changes to track the kernel
Does the new 2.1.x amule fix this issue?
