The problem is that the cernlib package split out these deps into
seperate packages with cernlib 2005.dfsg-1 . For instance geant is now
built by the geant321 source package in Debain instead of cernlib. I
believe it's the same situation for the other deps. We need to get the
new source packages
The binary packages appears to install fine on a fully updated edgy
install.

Hardinfo on dapper 6.06.1 (package 0.3.7pre-2) still shows a single cpu
on my Dual Athlon MP.
(It's always possible that hardinfo just doesn't know about multiple
CPU?)
I also tried building 0.4.1-2 from source on dapper 6.06.1 (which is
much prettier); but it still shows me 1 CPU.

Binary package hint: xfonts-kappa20
All the font descriptions, e.g. 10x20L10b.pcf.gz are gzipped zero-length
files. The whole package is only 19 kb as a result.
PS: How do I avoid this clunky web interface when reporting bugs in Ubuntu?
Reportbug is only for vanilla Debian?
