I have used SADMS successfully with Ubuntu 7.04 workstations and a
server, though Windows clients experience some initial slowness browsing
shared directories probably due to DNS/WINS issues (being not properly
configured on the Windows end).

Yes, a silc-server package would be awesome. I'm currently evaluating
various chat and instant messaging options; my last job used an internal
Jabber server behind a billion firewalls, IM really looks like something
with a real business case.
