I can confirm that CVS versions of Kino start up just fine.
Since Kino is in 'main', would 'ubuntu-dev' be the right team to assign
to?

Looks like this project doesn't distribute sources (or at least they're very
hard to find).
On sourceforge's project page, the only released files are precompiled packages.
Both SVN and CVS repositories are empty
If anyone has links to the sources please post them, so i can package
it.
