I can confirm this with a clean install of Gutsy on AMD64 as well.
Open mysql-query-browser, connect to a remote server and it segfaults:
$ mysql-query-browser
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
$ mysql-query-browser --version
GNOME mysql-query-browser 1.2.5beta

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
