Just got the same error with Ubuntu 8.04 and istanbul 0.2.2-2.

This isn't available in Debian. Debian closed to the bug report due to
inactivity. However I don't know why it is marked 'Fixed Release' by
them. I will check this out and file the necessary Debian ITP.

No need to file upstream ITP. This application is in KDE playground for
KDE 4. It seems the KDE 3 release of this application is in a 'ghost
town' and hasn't seen any work on it for about a year and a half. The
only work I have seen in the past few months on this application is
fixes in order to
