Will rc15 work on 8.10?
The reason I ask, is I want to run an oracle DB server on this box.
Oracle is very pick as to all the bits and pieces it needs to install.
I've found docs for installing Oracle 11g on Ubuntu 8.10 - but
jaunty is a little close to the bleeding edge.

and adding to to launch from my rc.local worked for me.
Out of curiosity I removed the modprobe.d file that ravidgemole
suggested and added vmxnet to my /etc/initramfs-tools/modules as Ruben

Low priority ok but it is quite annoying when your dsl provider provides
you with TV via rtsp :(.
A simple rebuild of the package with a trivial patch on the rules file is
enough kill this bug.
Please just add --enable-realrtsp (I must admit I haven't checked the build dep
so far) ;).
