the problem stops if i exit SCIM.. but closing SCIM is not an option, sometimes
i want to type in japanese

I have the same problem here and unfortunately got messed up in
workarounds :-(
After I used the archive from Alexey, I got an error of different
versions (2.24 vs 2.26) of libtool. Then copied accidental all the files
from /usr/share/libtool/config/ into the archive and now I get the error
Someone else recently mentioned -- on the same bug at launchpad -- a
different fix. It might have been to delete the IPv6 entries in
/etc/hosts (IIRC), but you'll want to check the bug to be sure.
