Copying files in dolphin includes the whole path, not just the filename

Some times when copying a file in dolphin the new file is created in the new
location but the whole path is included in the filename.
e.g.
when copying file: readme.txt which resides in /home/user/Desktop
to the directory /tmp/ the filename for

Today, kernel 2.6.31 break everything : My external monitor is no longer
recognized.
I follow Karmic evolution and I will watch if things get back into shape.
With Kernel 2.6.30, things have improved and everything was almost fine :

I realize this is an infrared remote. But the dmesg output describes it
as a game controller. Also, the joystick_lshal call did not pick it up
until I hit a button on the remote. Seems the dongle was designed to
disconnect if it does not recognize a PS3 flag.

I've been having problems with this for a while now. I thought it
seemed to go away either just before Ubuntu 9.04 came out, or briefly
after the upgrade, but it's back with a vengeance. I had also switched
system chassis lately -- originally I'd been running a Dell PowerEdge
600SC, which did not
So when do you plan to create an update for firefox?
Windows users use it already for a day.. =(

working in a vague sense but there are a lot of symbol mismatches

If for some reason you open the Document Print Status window and,
without selecting a job go to Job>Cancel, a prompt appears asking: "Do
you really want to cancel this job? [Yes] [No]".

Basically, the GPU has locked up, which is why restarting X isn't
sufficient to get it going again. gdb doesn't really give anything
useful for X freeze bugs, but we have other tools for gathering data on

Since the upgrade to 2:2.7.99.1+git20090602.ec2fde7c-0ubuntu1 yesterday,
all performance related issues with Intel videocard & compiz have been
resolved except tearing is experienced
Today I updated my Ubuntu 9.04 with the latest packages from the
Telepathy PPAs (https://launchpad.net/~telepathy/+archive/ppa). There
was a new version of telepathy-gabble and now the connection with my
jabber-account works.
