I guess the problem with apport is that there are no debugging symbols
available for a ppa package. Anyhow, if you can trigger the crash
consistently you can at least tell us how you do that. If you downgrade
to 1.7.1.1 you can then also provide a backtrace (you can simply
downgrade using sudo
I want to remember that only KDM fails to start, gdm works and startx
launch x.org if executed from command line.

Those are the only remaining changes, as you can see in the changelog
entry of the debian maintainer, all other ubuntu deltas are now in

I've built the package in a karmic pbuilder and installed it in a VM
running an up to date karmic system. The package installs and launches

If I delete a file via GUI in krusader it won't disappear from view,
even after refresh via Ctrl+r. Opening a console via F2 confirms that
the file was indeed deleted. I have to change into the parent folder of
the folder in question and back to get a view without the deleted file.
