I think the problem is the packages are being matched to the .desktop
files by the name rather than package name. Therefore many packages can
have the same name (ie. gpicview eog) so it shows the application but
then when it applies the installed_only filter it gets confused as it

Thanks to the upstream developer (Gabriel 'salsaman' Finch) the bug's
been fixed and a new upstream version released - 1.1,2. I've packaged
this for Denian, uploaded it to mentors.debian.net and sent an RFS to

I am running the latest Hydrogen for Jaunty (hydrogen 0.9.3). I am using
a hand-rolled kernel plus OSS4.
When I select OSS for the sound output in Hydrogen, and then click to
restart the driver, I get an Error starting audio driver pop-up. I am
its called sudo and it can be found in the ubuntu-restricted-extras.

The bug is still present in current Karmic. I got it visible in Xfce's
Settings menu by copying the .desktop file to /usr/share/applications
and removing line OnlyShowIn=GNOME.

From the looks of it, your mirror is likely just out of sync. Can you try
an apt-get update and try again? If that's still not working, try switching
to archive.ubuntu.com

I don't think this is really a Mozilla issue. As per comment #23, this
happens because the path to the Ask.com search plug-in changes each time
Firefox is updated, so Firefox thinks that it is a new search plug-in
that has been installed. This is a side effect of how the Ask.com
search plug-in
