Confirming. gnome-shell is looking for the un-sonamed library.
Obviously gnome-shell starts with the libclutter-1.0-dev installed, but

I'm not so sure nspluginwrapper is to blame here: I'm running 64-bit
flash from labs.adobe.com ( version 10,0,32,18 ), and see this problem
in browsers (Opera 10.00) that does not use nspluginwrapper at all.

I can confirm that gpk-update-viewer shows updates are available on the window
title even if none appear on the window list.
In my case synaptic correctly shows chromium-browser as the available update
but gpk-update-viewer will not.

What happens if you modify the grub.cfg file to include Jaunty?

It seems it is not related to system-config-lvm. system-config-lvm
relies on lvm2 and since I have problems with that I would say lvm2 is
closer to the source of the problem. When I try to lvremove a snapshot I

I can't select objects with RMB in Blender
I have grub 1.97~beta3-1ubuntu5 installed and the same problem.
It takes several minutes before the menu show up while there ist constant hard
drive activity.
Grub is installed inside the MBR auf /dev/sda and my Kubuntu systems
resides on /dev/sdc1.

Here's what I'm experiencing (I think it's the same bug but not sure):
The sound works fine *except* every 3 or 4 seconds, it speeds up to a
high-pitched speed for a tiny fraction of a second. This creates a high-
pitched click sound on what is otherwise normal.
This is in Jaunty, package version

pulseaudio.

There is also a missing application icon for ePDFviewer in Xfce menu in
Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackelope.
