Thanks, I have now sent the patch to Olivier (the author). The patch
does work and there is an auto_rotate option in the config file which
the default is set to 1. However I have not managed to update the
configuration GUI to include this config option yet. However, I doubt

I suggest upgrading to debian version 2.6.7-56 (put on unstable today), it
compiles on my computer (version 2.6.7-53 didn't compile because of sbrk check).

verified at least that the script verifiy on another source like
/var/log/apt/term.log.

This is a non-issue today as all the kernel-modules are automatically fixed
when you get a new kernel.
I suggest that you update to a newer release. In at least the last two
releases(9.04 and 9.10), this has not been a problem.
