Comment: Found on GNOME bugzilla database: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320276 Looks like it's related to the europe.keys.pgp.com keyserver. It has been removed from service recently. If this keyserver is being removed from the list, the program doesn't freeze anymore.
