I agree with Peter. Each package has to provide its own .desktop file
to indicate its availability. Which packages/programs are missing menu
entries? Which packages do you have installed?

You're right, my apologies. I did, however, have bzr-svn installed on
my system at the time I tested this. Oddly enough, my main user has no
problem, but a new user gets the same message you do.
Weirdly, the bzr-svn package only registers a handler for svn+https, so
it SHOULDN'T be intercepting

Definitely should narrow the rules down somewhat. This may be an
attempt to grab control of screen or audio devices (haven't looked at
the source too closely) but there MUST be a better way to do this.
