I left the "what do you want to do, keep original, use package manager", etc. window up for several hours while I was away.
I returned, and selected "show side by side". It appeared to revert to "keep original". A few minutes later, the "what do you want to do" window re-appeared. I selected "show side by side" again. It did, but RECOMMENDATION #1 no where as nice/clean as an sdiff command would. The word wrap was terrible. There didn't appear to be any differences either. OK, I thought. I'll keep my original setup. I pressed Cancel. RECOMMENDATION #2 It is not clear what Cancel or Continue means here. grub-update appears to rebuild grub.cfg, and then this error pops up. -- package grub-pc 1.97~beta4-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/476792 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list universe-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
