Solved: pulse audio support for flash 10 in firefox 3.5.x (no sound and
crashes)
Tested with: flashplugin-installer/flashplugin-nonfree combo as well as
adobe-flashplayer.
Problem: no matter what you try, firefox plays for a short while with no
sound and freezes/crashes while attempting to play

Everything appears to be installed, but the last step has to be done
manually for the plugin to appear in about:plugins
Fix:
cd /usr/lib/firefox/plugins
ln -s /usr/lib/moon/plugin/libmoonplugin-ff3bridge.so libmoonplugin-ff3bridge.so
The installer *SHOULD* do this for me

There appears to be a 32-bit integer overflow problem in facebookchat.
When I attempt to chat with someone whose Facebook uid is 2^32 the
messages are sent correctly, but the return messages show up as coming
from their UID truncated to 32 bits.

I believe this is actually due to the karmic version of mencoder being
built missing the necessary codec. See bug #386449.

Sorry, looks like this was a bug with my custom built kernel. The
problem hasn't reoccurred since I switched back to the standard kernel.

The version of jpilot in Ubuntu 9.04 (that is jpilot 1.6.0-1)
incorrectly exports to vcard format.
When exporting addresses to vcard format, jpilot it inserts an extra copy of
the category information in front of
the FN: tag, meaning the vcf
Just want to add that I have experienced the same issues in both 64bit
and 32bit Ubuntu in 8.04 and 8.10. Also, I have used the restricted
Nvidia drivers and the Linux drivers available of of the Nvidia website
with no luck. The one thing in common between the variations is compiz.
