Moodle in both Debian and Ubuntu uses postgresql by default. If someone
wants mysql, they will have to do more work. Basically, they will need
to do something like:
sudo aptitude install moodle mysql-server php5-mysql
If they do this, neither postgresql or php5-pgsql will be installed and

Thanks for you help. I have updated my patch so that moodle doesn't pre-
depend on anything and the package still works. As mathiaz says, this
probably doesn't completely fix this bug as this bug appears to have
been reported from the Edubuntu DVD install. Moodle still depends on
pgsql or mysql
I have today's daily build and X still does not start for me whether I
