I'll ACK this. While we certainly appreciate the effort Debian-edu has
put into these packages they do cause confusion, are largely redundant
with Edubuntu, and are sometimes uninstallable due to Debian/Ubuntu
differences.

Do you guys have libcupsys2-dev installed? You can find out by running
the following in a Terminal:
dpkg -l | grep libcupsys2-dev
There was a bug where a lack of libcupsys2-dev will cause printing to
not work but I don't know if that has anything to do with printcap.

qcad missing menu entry for arc->tangential
I wasn't able to reproduce this bug. I'm not an internationalization
expert by any means, but using the Italian locale I could save a file
fine and reopen it. So I'm going to close the bug. If you can reproduce
it with the latest version of Ubuntu please feel free to reopen the bug
report.

I can't reproduce this and suspect it was a one-off crash as you said so
I'm going to close it. Please feel free to submit a new bug with apport:
If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable
apport in /etc/default/apport and restart.
If you are using Ubuntu with the Gnome
I'm marking this as Invalid as I'm not able to reproduce and the
original reporter hasn't either. If you experience this problem again
please feel free to reopen.
