Sprites appear transparent when running Scratch 1.4 with visual effects
(compiz) enabled using the currently available version of the VM
(1.3.9.8-3ubuntu3). The bug causes the Scratch cat and other sprites to
be see through ( see attached image
** Attachment added: 'Sprites' and 'costumes' appear washed out / transparent.
This bug has been fixed in more recent versions of the VM.
