Oh that's weird. You're seeing languages in Italian. If your browser is
configured to use Italian then that's the problem. If you're in Italy, then
google might guess the language from your geo location.
In either ways, this could be forced when requesting languages.

Thanks for your report. Looks like you don't have gnome-icon-theme, so
you don't have the process-working image. I'll fix that in the next
release by shipping the animation within the distribution rather than
using the icon theme.

I said it's been packaged in Debian, so you won't find it on Ubuntu.
1. Remove the old installed freespeak
2. Do a ./configure && make && make install
3. killall -HUP gconfd-2
4. Wait some seconds
5. Run freespeak as non-root

the 0.3.0 version.
