This should be fixed with the current version. Debconf isn't used for
this part of the code anymore.

It's currently in multiverse because it originally got synced from debian
contrib. It's since then been moved into debian main.
Rationale:
libvdpau should be moved into main because a package in main will soon be
build-depending upon it (ffmpeg):
