When i'm selecting PulseAudio as the output driver in Kdenlive, I get
the message SDL failed to open audio: no available audio device on the
status bar when I try to preview my video. No sound is played.

The problem still occurs with the latest updates, but without
blacklisting agpgart. I'm now blacklisting agpgart, and see if the
problem persists.

the boot process :

any idea what's going wrong? I am thinking of going back to the earlier version
of Ubuntu. This display problem is quite annoying. At times the login page is
in another resolution than the Desktop!
