Since you say Firefox is otherwise fine, it seems like it must be a
flash issue. Keep in mind that just because you had Flash 10 on Hardy
doesn't mean it was the exact same minor version, so a regression
between different Flash 10 versions is possible.

I just want to add that this update is quite solid for me as well,

Why not just migrate the firefox profiles (~/.mozilla in linux)? That
would presumably be way easier, put the task of upgrading things between
new versions in firefox's park (which it can handle just fine), and give
you everything you'd expect.
Then there wouldn't be any problems like migrating FF
Anything else I can do to help this along? Fixing these bugs and adding
8 or so translated languages is quite important, at least to me :) As
James said, the upstream tarball has all the Ubuntu packaging and could

plugin? If so I would agree with Alex; try indexing less files and
seeing if that provides a more agreeable result. Otherwise there may be
improvements; using 0.8.1 Do is using about 37 megs of ram, not to
mention I am using Dock

they add functionality to, in the case of a plugin pack, where it isn't
logical to assume that you are installing it because you want every
