[Bug 324882] Re: jabref gui problems with openjdk

2009-07-20 Thread MoMaT
I'm confirming taht after the openjdk-6 upgrade the text in the bibliography list is no longer truncated. However, the tabs and form labels below that list still have an excessive padding (but this doesn't make them unreadable, just ugly). -- jabref gui problems with openjdk

I'm confirming this on a clean installation of Jaunty with openjdk-6. It seems to be a problem with the text padding as the tabs and form labels below the bibliography list are also affected. ** Attachment added: jabref-jaunty-openjdk-6.png

It doesn't work. The $http_proxy is not set and the apt-get is still trying to get flash from port 80. In apt.conf I have a single line: Acquire::http::proxy http://my_proxy:3128/;; and it works for other packages. -- package flashplugin-installer 10.0.22.87ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade

It seems that this has been fixed since a several months in checkinstall 1.6.0 (patched for newer glibc versions). So, when this version of checkinstall is going to hit the Dapper repo? Isn't this a CRITICAL bug for all package maintainers? Checkinstall 1.6.0 deb and src:
