What do you mean when you say sensors command works perfectly ?
Are you referring to the sensors-detect command ? And if so, are you
rebooting computer subsequent to issuing the sensors-detect command
(that is after it has completed it's detection of sensors) and are you

I can not speak for any of the previous releases but for me the Xsensor
program has finally been fixed so that it works perfectly under Jaunty.
However, let me say that if you got to Jaunty via an upgrade from a
previous version of Ubuntu (as opposed to installing Jaunty from

issue (as someone has suggested on the Ubuntu user forums), then why
doesn't someone permanently incorporate these 2 lines or something
similar into the glipper program, so everyone that has this problem is
not having to hunt
