Hi, I can confirm that its not working under karmic, I got the same message, I cannot go with the workaround by modifying those 2 files because I dont have python 2.5 installed, I have python version 2.6, I hope somebody can have a fix for this one, Thanks! -- ImportError: No module named

Hi all I have Ubuntu 9.04 and I solved this problem modifying the 2 python scripts cgmail and cgmailservice at first row: from #!/usr/bin/python to #!/usr/bin/python2.5 (I have python2.5 and python 2.6 installed on my machine). I don't know if it's the right way, but it works -- ImportError:

I can confirm this issue also occurs on a new installation of Jaunty with cGmail 0.5 installed. Installation of python 2.5 (the python2.5 package) and changing cGmail to use python2.5 - by changing the first line of the /usr/bin/cgmail and /usr/bin/cgmailservice scripts allows cGmail to start.
