I cannot reproduce it again since I have a new computer. But it's

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

Hi,
you reported this bug a while ago, is this issue still a problem for you?
I am not convinced this is a vlc bug, does the same happen with Movie
Player(totem) or Mplayer as well?

VLC doesn't show fullscreen video on
I can't test it again since I don't have two monitors connected anymore.
I've seen others who runs it successfully tough, but with a different
setup.
The working setup:
Ubuntu 8.10
fglrx 2:8.543-0ubuntu4
TV connected to TV out and configured in ATI's GUI
vlc 0.9.4-1ubuntu3
The non-working setup:
