OK, in fact - I can confirm that it works with ubuntu & the preloading in the skype wrapper. If you store the session via gnome, skype is loaded via the real binary instead of the script. Adding it to the startup items manually fixes this with my logitech quickcam stx. -- No picture from Logitech
