i found them through apt-cache search wmvare, file is in attachment. I didn`t
know they must not be used together :(
The problem rised from the fact that vmware tools from wmvare itself (i`m using
VMWare 6.0.5 on Windows XP to run Ubuntu for my work) can not properly

Where did you find a package named vmwaretools? Could you please post the
content of your /etc/apt/sources.list file?
In any case, you cannot (should not) have both vmwaretools and open-vm-tools,
they will clearly conflict with each other as you seem to be experiencing.
