Could you run "tail -f /var/log/syslog" and copy anything that appears
as you try to copy the files from your NTFS partition?

I ran a mount-check command at the suggest of a forum member this
morning and it says it was mounted fine in rw mode. I also tried a sudo
terminal copy but got the same "Permission deniedcannot
access...blah blah" for every file that was attempted to be copied.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you please post the output of
"mount -l"? Could you also try copying using the terminal? If that
doesn't work, please post the exact command you used and the error
messages as they appear.
