Hi,
just some status update: I first uploaded 1:0.9.8.0-1ubuntu1 with patched
build-dependencies from Dimos, which built fine, but only on i386 (since sbcl
didn't seem available on other arches). Then I uploaded 1:0.9.8

As far as I know the 2.6.15-1[567] kernels also cause problems for cmucl
and for clisp. A working version 0.9.9.0 for dapper and breezy can be
found at http://people.debian.org/~pvaneynd/cl-dapper-

Thx. for your comment, but I cannot change the kernel of the buildds.
However it might be possible to bootstrap sbcl with e.g. cmucl or clisp
according to notes from http://sbcl.sourceforge.net/porting.html.

@StephanPotyra
You need the 2.6.15-14 or 2.6.15-18 kernel. With the -15, -16, -17
kernels sbcl crashes due to some kernel configuration options but it
works fine with the other two.

Comment:
The latest source package for sbcl is 0.9.8.0-1 however a binary is not
available. It cannot be built, because it build-depends on sbcl (>>
1:0.9.5.50-9) and only 0.9.2.0-3 is available.
By relaxing the version dependency

Comment:
You need a working recent sbcl to rebuild sbcl. That or you need to
cross compile it manualy from cmucl or possibly from clisp.
