Thank you taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. However, the stack trace was useless for upstream to find the
bug. There are no steps to reproduce. It can be a wxWidgets bug.
Can you reproduce this bug? Does it occur with 1.3.9-4 from Ubuntu 9.10
(karmic)?

This was always a bit erratic, with no discernible pattern to it. At the
moment I don't have any big audio files to edit, so I wouldn't be able
to reproduce it anyway.
